Michael’s love for health and wellness began in his high school weight room where he learned the basics of strength, conditioning, and nutrition from his coaches. He then went on to study accounting and finance at Wingate University where he also worked as a NETA certified personal trainer in the school’s fitness center. It didn’t take long for Michael to realize that health and wellness was his calling, and he ultimately left Wingate University’s business program to pursue a career in personal training, which would lead to his interest in studying neuromuscular therapy at Southeastern Institute. During his studies, he worked as a sales associate at GNC where he furthered his knowledge of supplementation and nutrition.
As a licensed practitioner, Michael uses his knowledge of anatomy and neuroscience to relieve pain, discomfort, and improve joint mobility, which will in turn maximize athletic performance and daily activities. Utilizing Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial Release, and Active Release techniques, Michael works to his client’s needs and develops a plan to work toward their health goals.
